Our brother and friend, Denis, passed into Life eternal January 4, 2023.
Denis was born on March 18, 1940 to John L. and Bernadine (nee: Gruen) Reinhart. They have preceded him in death, as have his siblings Jack (JoAnne, nee: Grant), and Judith (Bill survives) Dreyer, his great-grandson Theodore James Herbert, and his parents-in-law Carl and Genevieve (nee: Ottenad) Fink. Denis is survived by: his loving wife of 61 years Carla; his children: Michael (Christine), Julie (Jeffrey) Ziegler; his grandchildren: Monica (David) Herbert, Renee Reinhart, Allison Ziegler, Nicholas Ziegler; his great-granddaughter Lainey Herbert; his brother Ken (Kathy, nee: Sedlak) Reinhart; and nieces and nephews.
Denis was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church, of the National Football Foundation, and a proud member of CBC class of 1958. He served as a little league coach with JFL Westco Football, and Creve Coeur Khoury League. He enjoyed playing golf, reading, watching sports, and especially enjoyed playing with his grandkids and rarely missed an opportunity to attend a game or special event in which they were involved.

Visitation was held at Kriegshauser West Mortuary, 9450 Olive Boulevard in Olivette, Missouri on Thursday, January 19th from 4-7 pm, where ond memories and expressions of sympathy were shared for the Reinhart family
A Mass of Resurrection was celebrated Friday morning, Jan. 20 at St. John Bosco Church, 12934 Marine Ave, St. Louis, MO 63 (Olivette) at 10 am.

David R. Dressler age 83 passed away peacefully in his sleep December 18th, 2023. He was surrounded by his wife of 58 years, Rita, and his children Michael, Dennis and his wife Aileen, Laura and her husband Charlie, Matthew and his wife Mary, and John and his wife Liz. David is survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. David also left behind his beloved dog Ruby.
David grew up in “Dogtown” St. Louis, Missouri with his five siblings. David attended Saint James grade school, Christian Brothers High School and Benedictine College. After graduation he met the love of his life, Rita Jean. They were married on February 27th, 1965. David was a devout member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He enjoyed a 50 year successful career in insurance.
He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed coaching soccer and cheering on his St Louis Cardinals. He loved summers at the lake and being out in nature with a dog at his side. His favorite moments were spent surrounded by his family and friends always ready with a story to share.
David will be sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri.
The Rosary will be held from 5:30-6:00 pm followed by the Visitation from 6:00-7:30 on Wednesday, December 27th at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 East Seminole St. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 28th tentatively scheduled for 10 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 2818 E. Bennett. Grave site services will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 4528 West Division St., Springfield, MO.
