Charlie informed Otto that "Etzel" was a royal house— in the fifth century, Attila reigned as consort king with Theodoric over the Huns using the name "Etzel".

Jim Vogelsang, a historian, confirmed this.

And Rich Schwan drove all the way from the Tennessee wilderness to be with us!

CBC Class of 1958 Lunch—June 11, 2024

Nobody can ever predict who might attend our lunches, and sometimes there are delightful surprises. Deacon Tim Dolan returns, recovering from his recent illness, and our lunch was graced with not only Jeff wiener's presence, but also that of his wife, Bev, granddaughter Katie and Jeff's twin great-grandkids, Kurtis and Kiera! Add to that Charlie Monfort, Terry O'Brien, Frank Pellegrini, Art Repovich, Tony Tuminello, and Jeff Wiener, with a cameo by the CBCHS Class of 1951 Lunch Bunch, and a Full House is the result.
